01 — About
A little about me
Hi, I’m Gabriella.
I’m a qualified person-centred counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP), with two years’ experience supporting people through all sorts of difficulties. Counselling works best when you have a space that feels safe, warm and accepting enough to be honest in.
My role is not to tell you what to do. It is to walk alongside you while you make sense of your thoughts, feelings and experiences — without judgement, and without pressure. We can go at your own pace. You bring what feels important.
I’m passionate about helping people build self-esteem, recognise their self-worth, find their voice and grow the confidence to make decisions that feel right for them.
I have a particular heart for supporting young women who may be struggling with confidence, identity, or the feeling of not quite being heard or understood.
02 — Being yourself
A space where you can be yourself
I have particular experience supporting people with ADHD and autistic people. I also have ADHD myself, so I can relate to some of the challenges that can come with being neurodivergent — and I care just as much about the strengths, creativity and individuality that often come with it too.
There is no need to mask here. No pressure to communicate in a particular way. You can show up as you are, and we can be curious together about what helps you feel more like yourself.
- No masking required
- No pressure to talk a certain way
- Acceptance
- Curiosity
- Room for your individuality
03 — ADHD in women
ADHD in Women
ADHD can look very different in women and is often missed for years. Rather than appearing as obvious hyperactivity, it can sometimes show up as overthinking, overwhelm, masking, perfectionism, difficulty switching off, emotional sensitivity, procrastination, or feeling as though you are constantly trying to keep up.
You may have become very good at appearing capable on the outside while feeling exhausted, scattered or overwhelmed underneath.
As a counsellor with ADHD myself, I understand how complex and exhausting these experiences can feel. I bring an empathic, non-judgemental approach to our work, creating a space where you can feel understood and accepted without having to mask or explain away your experiences. I know how important it can be to feel that someone genuinely understands, rather than simply being told to “try harder” or be more organised.
Counselling can offer a space to explore your experiences without judgement, understand patterns that may have shaped how you see yourself, and develop a more compassionate relationship with the way your mind works.
Counselling does not provide an ADHD diagnosis, and you do not need a formal diagnosis to bring these experiences to therapy.
- Masking
- Overthinking
- Feeling overwhelmed
- Rejection sensitivity
- Perfectionism
- Procrastination
- Emotional intensity
- Burnout
- Difficulty switching off
- Feeling “too much” or “not enough”
04 — Family and self
When someone else’s struggles have shaped your own
Growing up with, or alongside, a parent who is struggling with their mental health can leave a quiet imprint. It can shape how you relate to others, how confident you feel, how you hold your emotions, and how you see yourself.
This is something I know personally. I have my own lived experience of being affected by parental mental health difficulties. Those experiences have helped shape who I am today, and they have given me a deeper understanding of how a parent’s mental health can affect a young person — both at the time, and later in life.
That lived experience contributes to the empathy and understanding I bring to counselling, particularly when supporting people who have grown up around parental mental health difficulties. It does not mean my experience is the same as yours. It simply means I have a sense of how quietly this can sit with someone, and how gently it often needs to be approached.
For some people, it also comes with a sense of responsibility for others, or of not quite being heard. If any of that feels familiar, there is space here to unpack it gently — at your own pace, and without having to make it neat.

06 — How I work
Counselling that starts with you
Person-centred counselling is led by you, not by a set formula. You decide what we talk about. I offer a steady, collaborative presence while you make sense of things in your own way.
My aim is to walk alongside you while you grow a deeper understanding of yourself, more self-acceptance, more confidence, and a sense of personal growth that feels true for you.
I am here to walk with you, not ahead of you.
